Indoor skydiving, hiking at the Morton Arboretum, waterpark days, mini golf, an electric free week at our lake house, swimming, live music, and more! I am so fortunate to be able to spend my summers home with my kiddos & we really do have so much fun. I can’t wait for next summer… We have already started planning our epic travel adventure! – @BalancingLisaMy epic adventure was my first time going to the lake. I went with my family and friends, and I was nervous and excited to try new things. We had a Kayak, paddle boards, floaties and there was a rope swing to jump off of. I couldn’t wait to try them all. I went across the lake in the kayak with my friends, with my brother and then did it by myself. I even was able to stand up and paddleboard across the lake by myself, and I had so much fun. I was nervous for the rope swing, but I ended up jumping off the rope swing many times. She is all set for cooler weather. ❄️ Speaking of cooler weather, this summer we ventured to Banff National Park, in Canada, to discover it’s majestic mountains, turquoise lakes, and soothing hot springs. While there we saw lots of wildlife, including a mama Grizzly Bear and her two cubs at Lake Louise. We stood in awe watching them peacefully graze just 100 feet from us. One bear cub lifted a boulder as if it were a mere pebble. The other cub saw people riding on horseback and playfully began to chase them! Momma Grizzly went after him. Can you imagine being chased by a grizzly bear? He soon quit his antics, and went back to his dinner, but not before they gave everyone a scare! The park rangers stood ready and armed with tranquilizers to protect the tourist. Thankfully the tranquilizers were not necessary. I’m so glad everything ended well! Seeing that family of wild bears in their natural habitat is an experience we’ll never forget! -@SassyTeacherChicMy epic adventure took place when visiting family in Oregon, I came across animals, wildness and the sounds of waterfalls. I hiked & played and rode around on ATVS all day long.. my biggest discovery was the canoe ride down the river and the wonderful wildlife that was all around, it was so amazing!! -@Stylish.KaylaWho likes adventure, raise your hand?!?
