#BEARPAWSTYLE Bright On A Budget
Hi, my name is Tif and I blog at Bright on a Budget, an affordable fashion and lifestyle blog. As I’m sure you can imagine, I’m always on the go as I have two kids, a full-time job, and chose to pursue blogging as my side hustle. There are plenty of things I could have done as my side hustle. Admittedly, I don’t have many hobbies, but I probably would have made a lot more money from my side hustle if I’d have followed the crowd and bought fletcher building shares and similar shares. I mean, obviously, I wouldn’t have just jumped right into it, I would have seen what other options were out there first and checked stash reviews, I’m not reckless. But as popular as investing in shares is, personally, I am glad I have chosen blogging.
I do have to say though, that blogging on the side is a tough thing to do. When I first started, I didn’t know how to set up a website let alone schedule content. I started watching tutorials on how to do it all. You can click here to see the kind of videos I used in the beginning. My life is constantly busy. But I love it and I wouldn’t change a thing. It does mean that I don’t have many moments to myself but that’s fine. For example, right now I am looking to grow my Instagram following, I have things like Nitreo to help but I’m still trying to figure out the best way that I can do this, and it’s not just my Instagram that I am focusing on, I also want to make sure I give my lovely readers a great post regarding different items of clothing, styles, what to wear etc. My style is classic with a trendy twist. I look for pieces that are on trend but wearable. If it’s not comfortable, then it’s relegated to the back of the closet. And that’s why I love Bearpaw so much–their shoes allow me to look trendy without killing my feet. Since I wear Bearpaw for any and all occasions, I thought it would be fun to give you a look at how I’ve recently styled some of the new spring releases for everyday wear in real life.
WHEN IT’S SPRING BUT IT’S NOT SPRING
Kentucky can’t decide if it’s winter or summer right now (insert eye roll), so we’ve had a few cold snaps, including one last week. For those days, I’ve been wearing my classic Elle boots in blush, which also come in powder blue. I know some of you might worry about how the lighter color holds up in inclement weather, but these are part of Bearpaw’s Neverwet line, meaning that they repel water. So how do you style cozy boots for spring? With spring colors, of course! These pastel boots look adorable paired with an oversized pastel sweater that falls off one shoulder. The Elle boots in pastel colors allow you to dress like spring when it’s still cold outside. I wore this casual look around town on a Sunday afternoon. PS–if you’re still getting snow, sorry about your luck!
DRESS THEM UP
Easter Sunday was beautiful, but it was a little muddy out. I knew heels would just get stuck in the grass, so I opted to wear my Bearpaw Emerson sandals instead. While the Emerson comes in four colors, I chose the color Natural because it goes with everything. The detail on the front strap of the Emerson really elevates these sandals up a level, and it’s a very versatile shoe (click here to see how I styled them with white jeans and a dressy top). I wore these to chase my kids around my yard while they hunted eggs.
The Perfect Athleisure Shoe
I’m all about an athleisure look, but prefer slip-on tennis shoes to lace-ups. Bearpaw for the win! They have several great pairs of athleisure slip-ons, and I’m wearing the Jude in powder blue (also want in blush and ivory!). I wore this look out to brunch and to run errands. Slip-on tennis shoes look great with cropped leggings, like the bold pair I’m wearing him. As the weather warms up, you can totally swap my lightweight sweater for a t-shirt and still rock the Bearpaw Jude. I especially love the jute trim on these, which is very on-trend for spring and summer without sacrificing comfort. These also have the Neverwet technology, which means they’re ok to wear during spring showers:)
The Wear-Everywhere Sandal
I don’t know about you, but once the weather warms up, I tend to leave a pair of sandals by the door that I can wear everyday. I like a pair that I can slip on and go, and they must go with everything. Enter the Bearpaw Ash in Linen. This is such a neutral pair of sandals, but the shimmery top strap gives them that little something extra. I wore these out to a little festival with the kids and paired them with jeans and a tucked-in tee. My outfit, while casual, still looks very put together. I’ve also worn these with a dress and shorts–the possibilities are endless. I truly love the Bearpaw brand, and especially love these new styles for spring! I own over twenty pairs of Bearpaw shoes, and I can honestly say every pair I have are super comfortable. I’m so thankful for a brand that realizes you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style.
