- Can you tell us a little about yourself (and your blog/page)?
I’m a Columbus based lifestyle blogger full-time. I blog about what’s important to me such as personal style, positivity, organic beauty, pursuing wellness, faith, recycled/responsible fashion, and places that I love. I like to collaborate with organizations that are making a positive difference! I also have a chronic illness that I battle daily, so I like to blog about invisible illness awareness.
- What inspired you to join the Bearpaw Ambassador program?
The minute I saw Bearpaw shoes (plus their vibe and total aesthetic) I knew I wanted to be a part of the Bearpaw family. The style matched mine and I loved the look!
- What do you feel makes you unique?
I think the heart in my blog makes it unique. I want to keep myself and others inspired to pursue good things and live their best life. I really believe in community over competition. Also, I’m kinda quirky and I think my personal style is too.
- How would you describe your style?
My style is a little bit bohemian and a little bit vintage. It’s very whimsical, romantic, and eclectic.
- Who has been the biggest influence on your style?
I think the bloggers that I’ve followed along with have really inspired my style through the years. My favorite is Jade from The Darlings, a UK blog. Everything she posts is so dreamy and whimsical. I’m also inspired by vintage fashion, especially the ’20s and the ’70s.
- What do you do in your spare time?
Exercising is important to me. I like to jog and do yoga. I like to read and write. I like to see new places and explore. I also like to just hang out and relax, I’m a homebody.
- What is your go-to fashion look?
I think my go-to fashion look is probably a maxi dress, some cute boots or wedges and either a jacket or a cardigan. I love hats and necklaces too for accessories. Gotta accessorize!
- What are your top 5 pieces from Bearpaw?
My top 5 pieces (not in any order) are:
- How do you #livelifecomfortably?
I live comfortably by pursuing what I love and find value in and creating confidence in a personal style. I like to inspire others to do the same!
- What skill would you like to master?
I would love to learn better sewing skills and be able to make my own clothes one day.
- What fictional place would you most like to go?
Probably Santa’s workshop. I told you I’m Christmas obsessed.
- What songs have you completely memorized?
Beyonce is Queen B of my heart. If it’s a Beyonce song, chances are I’m gonna know it and I’m gonna sing it haha! I also know a ton of ’90s pop/alternative songs.
- Are you usually early or late?
I’m usually running at least a little bit late.
- What are some small things that make your day better?
I love reading a devotional, it can really turn my day around! A few of my other favorite things are: sunshine, some iced coffee and chocolate, taking a bubble bath, getting a surprise in the mail, a random act of kindness, chatting with a friend, playing with a dog, reading a book for fun, and YES of course online shopping.
- What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
I’d like to hang out with Fred and explore some new places. Some kind of sweet treat would definitely be involved! We might thrift a little bit, go see a play, or walk through an art exhibit or farmer’s market.
- What’s the best single day on the calendar?
Definitely Christmas! The whole Christmas season really. I love it all!
- What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
Southern California, I think!
- What’s the best way to start the day?
Spending time with my husband Fred. I also like to read a small devotional and have some iced coffee to start my day.
- What movie title best describes your life?
Hmm, maybe Singing In The Rain.
- What quirks do you have?
I like to read books in the bath tub and I get a bubble bath every other day. At home, I wear blankets like capes because I’m always cold and I use a heating pad more than anyone I know. I like to separate my bath and body care items by seasons.
