Girls Trip Getaway with Lauren Toews

One of my favorite things to do is travel… And it’s even better when you have a relaxing getaway with some of your closest friends! It’s something we have done for a few years now. Last summer we went to Houston and took in as many sights as we could (including lots of those you’ll find at https://www.dailytourist.com). This fall we went to Gatlinburg and stayed in an adorable cabin for some hard-core relaxation! We wanted to be cute while still comfortable, so we made sure to pack our Bearpaw goodies! I hope you enjoy following along on our trip!
Gatlinburg is a wonderful mountain town getaway with plenty of attractions and things to do! Even if you just want to spend the days in your cozy cabin, that’s perfectly enjoyable too. There’s not a moment that gets boring, especially because the Great Smoky Mountains provide all the wilderness and adventure in every breath. Just sitting by the fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa (or some wine) gives you an otherworldly feel, and it goes without saying that it’s paradise for people who love the outdoors! No wonder many couples consider eloping to here (yes!) and plan Gatlinburg weddings. Exotic, isn’t it? I’m so glad we chose this place for our getaway!

Sweaters & Slippers are an absolute packing must-have on any trip!
On our first night, we decided to take it easy and sip some wine on our cabin porch.

Obsessed with my cozy Star Gazer Hood Ruana!

Aren’t the Plum Loki‘s so cute on my friend, Lauren?!

We decided to take a little hike in the smokies, so I slipped on my favorite shoes… the Gracies!

It was absolutely gorgeous in the smokies!

When we got back to the cabin it was so nice to unwind, throw on our comfy slippers and hang out! Had we been somewhere where edibles are legal, we might have had a group bonding session over some of those. I’m quite interested to learn more about them myself, since I’ve heard great things from friends in states where that sort of thing is legal. But I digress. If you’re planning your own trip to the Smokey Mountains and are looking for places to stay whilst there, you can click here for more info. You’ll want to choose somewhere that offers access to all of the trails so that you can start early each day.

I hope you enjoyed following along and are inspired to take your own relaxing getaway & make sure you pack all of your Bearpaw faves!

Love,

Lauren
