BEARPAW Katniss Winter Boot: Not Just for Superheros

One thing I love about winter style is that you can combine different patterns that you’d never think of mixing in the summer. When one of our favorite models, Nikki, came over in this outfit, Ezra and I HAD to do an impromptu photo shoot.

Mixed patterns with a twist

Nikki does this perfectly as she chose one bold pattern – the flowers on her button down blouse, mixed with pinstripe jeans and a delicate lined detail on her hat. So cool ~

Pairing this with the BEARPAW Katniss Boot with its touch of detail is the perfect way to look stylish and still be able to walk tomorrow.

“I used to wear heels all the time. Chunky, stiletto, rounded toe, pointy toe. Like everything. Oh my G-d. And then I saw myself in a store window, and I looked like a freaking hunchback! Soooooo not the look I was going for. I love the BEARPAW styles that have the small details to them, like the Katniss, the Boshie, the Karen, even the Twill and the Bonnie because the wedges still make you feel like you’re wearing flats. I’m sorta addicted now. {giggles} But the first step is admitting you have a problem!”

Ummmm, I don’t really see a problem with NOT walking like a hunchback. Two styles methinks will never be in vogue: hunchback and bonnets. I don’t think the runway will be displaying aprons and butter churns anytime soon.

Love this look … now someone catch Nikki so we can steal this outfit 😉

Cheers~
